Since taking an essential oils ‘organic workshop’ a little over a year ago, I’ve turned into this crazy organic oil lady.
Rosehip seed oil has become my personal favorite because I love the smell; the consistency works well with my skin type; and it’s particularly amazing for repairing sun damage and discoloration, which is a major concern of mine seeing as I grew up on a beach and still am an admitted sun worshipper.
I am often looking for products which can improve the appearance and health and I, in particular, love the products that can help in this both ways. I try as much as I can go the health options, saving my family and I of preservatives and ‘bad’ ingredients.
I am always very excited when ordering a new health and beauty item. In particular, now when everything is done virtually. We need to trust the pictures and descriptions and it isn’t always an easy task. We never know exactly what will be delivered.
This product did not disappoint me. It arrived quickly, well packaged and exactly as described.
The item comes protected in a brown box and it is presented into a 120 ml resistant brown round bottle with black lid, and labeled with a large colourful label with all needed information and directions.
An extra lid, spray, is also included.
As this oil is a multipurpose, I have tried every where 🙂
Rosehip seed oil comes from a wild rose called Rosa Mosqueta and counts with infinite benefits as corrects UV damage from the sun, reduces appearance of scars, burns and stretch marks, treats fine lines and wrinkles, hydrates dry skin, it is great for eczema and psoriasis, evens skin tone = awesome if you have hyper-pigmentation, age spots or other minor skin discolorations
It worked as a great moisturizer on my legs. I have very dry skin and it is looking much healthier.
it’s also great for brittle nails and damaged hair. It worked well on mine.
But in my experience, the best comes from my face routine.
This oil can be used as a make up remover or you can use as toner. It will give great results if you have a combination skin like mine and need some balance to it. A spray is included, what makes it even easier.
And the hero: In a moisturizer and as a moisturizer. You can add a small quantity to your favourite cream or lotion or use the oil as it is. The skin feels so smooth and amazing
I suffer with my bad keloid formation, which causes ‘super’ cicatrization for higher amounts of collagen and elastin accumulated in my system. Rosehip oil is said to help prevent the formation of scar tissue. I’ve been rubbing rosehip seed oil on my battle wound at night and the discoloration is almost all gone. No scar for me!
Other good tip is with the dry and cracked heels. I’ve been rubbing some rosehip seed oil into them with a cotton pad and then add a thicker moisturizer and it’s helped massively.
This product is top and I really recommend!
