Because of keloid issues I choose this cream. I have tried hundreds of products with not much success and as I have used a few great items from this company, I decided to have a go with the scars cream too.
This product comes protected in a white and blue-grey box. Product features, ingredients, directions of use and extra information are printed on the box and on the item’s label.
The very first thing which called my attention on this North American company is that all the products are completely or partially organic. This cream in particular in 72% organic. The company also is cruelty free, what means that they do not perform any tests on animals and another great pro is that their products, once opened has a life of 12 months – but I always finished the bottles before that.
I suffer with bad keloids, some faded with time and others not. Backing to September last year, I was forced to have a huge surgery and it left me a few visible scars and some parts of it was a little red still even after all these months had passed.
Its still to soon to say that the scares and keloid marks disappear but the newest redness is well reduced.
The formula is excellent. It is added with arnica montana, msm, shea butter, wheat germ oil, vitamin e, vitamin c and tamanu oil. The consistency is just perfect and absorbs super fast.
ARNICA MONTANA is a known anti-inflammatory which is soothing and often applied to skin for pain and swelling associated with bruises, aches, sprains, and arthritis. It is used to treat skin disorders, and can be applied to the skin for acne, muscle and cartilage pain, and chapped lips.
MSM helps keep skin, hair and nails healthy by promoting the production of keratin. It restores and repairs skin & collagen tissue. MSM is well known as a powerful ingredient for anti aging & repairing cosmetics.
Shea butter is an extraordinary substance that contains special healing ingredients that make it ideally suited to use on skin that displays scars of any kind. One of the principal ingredients in shea butter that makes it an ideal substance to apply to skin scars is the anti-oxidant, Vitamin E. In addition, it contains powerfully effective anti-inflammatory agents, most notably, Vitamin A. Shea butter also has high quantities of fatty acids that heal, moisturize, and rejuvenate skin cells, as well as unique emollients that enable shea butter to keep skin cells moisturized and replenished, but without clogging pores.
Wheat germ oil contains a high amount of Vitamin E and Omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, which help much to regenerate, nourish and hydrate the skin. Therefore, wheat germ oil can promote diminishing in the appearance of scars
VIitamin C is a known antioxidant which is linked to collagen synthesis. It can help bruises, scars and sun-damaged skin, as well as containing vital antioxidants. VITAMIN E plays a crucial role in protecting skin cells and membranes from environmental damage. It also provides deep moisturization and helps calm inflammation.
Tamanu has antineuralgic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibiotic and antioxidant properties. It also contains a number of specific lipids not typically found in other oils, including calophyllolide (stops inflammation), lactone (an antibiotic), and calophyllic acid (an uncommon type of fatty acid that particularly aids in healing acne and scars in general).
I am quite impressed as the redness is going away with just a few uses. It is working very well for me and fingers crossed, it will be even better.
If you have annoying bruises or scars – including acne scars and keloid marks – You won’t regret. It is an awesome elixir.
