We usually take things (and people) for granted.
How about start a daily diary, thanking for every single good thing you have, doesn’t matter where you are, believe me, always you will find some little (or big) think to be thankful for.

Day 4. I am very thankful for my health.
Day 5. I am so grateful for Mother Nature, for covering our world in beauty.
Day 6. I am thankful for all the help i received today from my colleagues.
Day 7. I am so grateful for this beautiful sunny day.
