Hello!!

Hope you all had a great day!

Once again, I will be short and sweet today as I am having a very busy day. I ate well, didn’t have any diet coke and today my husband helped me to follow Daniel London workout plan.

What I ate –

Breakfast

• 1/2 toasted English muffin topped with 1/2 small apple, sliced, and 1 ounce shredded reduced-fat cheese, any type. Microwave 30 seconds on High. (AMAZING!!!!!)

• 6 ounces light yogurt sprinkled with 1 tablespoon slivered almonds

Lunch

• 1 cup tomato soup

• Sandwich: 1 mini whole wheat pita, 3 ounces thinly sliced roast beef, 1 teaspoon horseradish, mustard, tomato slices, lettuce

• 1 cup raw veggies (I grated carrots and added to the sandwich, it was a quite nice)

• 1 pear (I had a little apple actually as i didn’t have a pear)

Dinner

• 3 ounces poached salmon (I had it raw)

• Slaw: Toss 1 1/4 cups coleslaw mix (I mixed cabbage and carrots only) and 2 sliced green onions with 2 tablespoons fat-free dressing (no more than 30 calories per 2 tablespoons) – I used fat free helmmans vinaigrette (less than 7 calories per portion)

• 3/4 cup cooked brown rice

• 1/2 cup pineapple chunks in juice

I have posted on twitter all my today’s meals. Check it out at @paulatooths

How I worked out –

Leg hold 6′ – 10 seconds x 3 (always 10 seconds rest between each set)

Plank on elbows – 10 seconds x 3

Wall chair (10 seconds hands on the air and 10 seconds with the hands up)  x 3

Knee up and knee down (as a squat but one knee at the time) 20 x 3

Two people leg raising 10 x 3

Leg hold open 1/6 – 10 seconds x 3

Squat with jump 10 x 3

Push ups (10 on the knees plus 5 army push ups) x 3

Wall chair (10 seconds hands on the air and 10 seconds with the hands up)  x 3

Leg hold cross – 10 seconds x 3

Classic squats 10 x 1 (I pushed myself harder and made 3 series)

* If you are not familiar with the exercise names, youtube can be a great source! There you will find even the techniques to correctly perform them.

The workout wasn’t particularly easy, but I managed well 🙂

I had the bath cold as soon as i finished the workout and i must confess that it helps so much.

Catch you tomorrow!

x
